Look for the Rainbows Card Kit

Howdy, crafty friends. THIS new card kit from Simon Says Stamp is now available and I created a shaker card with some of the contents…

I started by embossing a piece of THIS card stock using the embossing folder included in the kit. I applied a rainbow of distress ink on to THIS work surface and sprayed water to create watercolor. I taped down the piece to a hard board using THIS tape. I painted stripes of color and sprayed some of THIS for some shine. After it was completely dry, I used THIS to sand the top of the 3-D pattern, making some of the design pop to in white.

I die-cut the center with THIS circle die and stamped a sentiment from the stamp set on the circle die-cut. I adhered the acetate behind the opening and added THESE thin strips around the circle opening as well as the rest of the panel. I added some of the gems from the kit in the center of the card base and adhered the acetate panel on top, creating a shaker card.

Here’s a closer look…

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.
