Interactive Lunch Box Notes

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I’m sharing a fun spin on the traditional lunch box note…

Since school starts back up soon (which I’m completely not ready for), I thought I would create some notes to have on hand to put in my son’s lunch. I started by stamping images and sentiments from THIS stamp set on white card stock. After coloring any images that needed color, I used THIS die to cut them out.

If you’re like me, I sometimes get intimidated by interactive dies, so I suggest going to the company’s YouTube channel to search for tutorials. THIS video by Kelly from Lawn Fawn was so helpful and made the creative process so much easier.

After assembling all the pieces, I die-cut patterned paper from THIS card kit using THIS die to add a decorative frame to the piece. Instead of placing these on to cards, I’m going to give them as is. They are just the right size for a lunch box and I will write my message on the back.

Here’s a closer look at each…

For the good luck note, I stamped a sentiment and images from THIS stamp set and THESE coordinating dies…

I stamped  the smiley faces from THIS stamp set on some of the hearts and white heat embossed the “pull” using THIS stamp set…

I hope this inspires you to create some interactive lunch box notes.

Thanks for joining me. Happy crafting!
