Picket Fence Studios + WOW! Embossing Collaboration Blog Hop

Hi, crafty friends. Today’s blog post is part of a fun blog hop with WOW and Picket Fence Studios.

To create this card, I started by stamping and coloring the fox image from THIS stamp set. I used THIS coordinating die to cut it out. I stamped the tree trunk and cut it out as well as a grassy hill from THIS die. For the background, I blended blue and purple Distress Oxide inks on THIS paper. To create the night sky, I blended THIS ink on top with THESE brushes. While it was still wet, I sprinkled some of THIS embossing powder in random areas and heat set it to give it some shine…

I also spritzed some water on top of the ink for more added texture. I heat embossed the sentiment with THIS embossing powder. I love how bright white it is! For the stars, I inked up a piece of card stock with THIS ink and then sprinkled some of THIS glow in the dark embossing powder. After heat setting it and letting it cool, I die-cut several stars from it using THIS die. The glow in the dark embossing powder works great…

I finished off the card by adhering the panel to one of THESE card bases.
