Birthday Gift Tags

Hello, crafty friends. I’m back with another idea using THIS card kit…

I started by cutting a tag shape from the white card stock in the kit as well as a few of the patterned papers. I used a tag die that folds like a luggage tag, but you can use any tag dies you have. After adhering the patterned paper tag to the front of the white tag, I die-cut a rectangle in the front tag, creating a window.

The kit comes with a panda die and I cut it from the black and white flocked paper.  After assembled, I adhered them inside each tag’s window. I stamped a sentiment from the kit’s stamp set and adhere the strip behind the front tag, inside the window. I added a party hat image from the stamp set and added sparkle to it with the shimmer pen included in the kit.

I wanted to make these tags hold gifts so I added a vellum strip along the bottom of the inside tag. I put money in one and a gift card in another…

I finished off the tag with some ribbon.

I hope this inspires you to create a tag that holds a gift.

You can find more information about the kit HERE.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.
