Rest and Refresh Release

Hi, crafty friends. Simon Says Stamp has a new release called, Rest and Refresh, and it’s fabulous. You can find the entire release HERE. I created two shaker cards using some of the new product…

For the first shaker card…

I started by stamping THIS new background stamp on THIS card stock using THIS ink for a tone on tone look. I die-cut four circles from the front of the panel using one of THESE dies. I adhered a piece of THIS acetate to the back and inlaid THIS cat die-cut on top of the acetate. I adhered the positive stamped circle pieces to the card base and added some of THESE sequins on top. I lined the acetate piece with foam tape all around the edges and in between the circles, creating four pockets for the shakers to move around in. I stamped a coordinating sentiment from THIS stamp set.

Here’s a closer look…

For the second shaker card, I created it in the exact same way but stamped THIS background, cut THIS dog die, and added THESE sequins…

Here’s a closer look…

I hope this inspires you to try to create multiple shaker windows on your next interactive card.

Again, you can see the entire release HERE. I’ve linked it below as well as the supplies used on today’s cards.

Thanks so much for visiting. Have a great day.

Gee, Heather, you really did a lot for this blog hop. When I’ve completed ONE shaker window, I feel like I’ve done a day’s work. To put multiple windows on each card is truly amazing. Nice work and they really turned out to be super cute!
