Easy Shaker Card Element

Hello, crafty friends. Today’s card features and easy to create shaker card element…

I started by die-cutting THIS circle die from THIS card stock. I die-cut THIS frog circle die from the center of the circle, creating a circle window. I adhered acetate to the back of the opening and adhered the eye die-cuts into place. I stamped a sentiment from THIS stamp set along the bottom of the circle by curving the sentiment before stamping. I die-cut another circle but this time using black card stock to serve as the back to the shaker element. I added THESE foam adhesive strips to the back of the acetate. I added some of THESE sequins on top of the black circle and then adhered the green circle piece on top.

To create the background, I stamped THIS circle strip image using THIS and THIS ink. I adhered the entire piece to a black note card and added some of THESE yellow hearts to the center of a few of the circles.

I hope this inspires you to create a shaker element on your next project. I really like these type of dies for this because it already creates a window for you. I’ve shared a similar idea using these dies HERE.

Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate your support.

Have an awesome day.
