Howdy, crafty friends. Today, I have two cards to share that came from one technique. Don’t you love when that happens!? …
I started by die-cutting THIS gorgeous die from an alcohol ink background I had on hand.
For the first card…
I used the outline of piece from the die and adhered it to a note card stamped with THIS background stamp. I used THIS ink so it wouldn’t be too distracting and give a tone on tone look. I white heat embossed a sentiment from THIS stamp set to adhere across the die-cut. I finished off the design with a few of THESE sequins.
For the second card…
I added a strip of THIS masking paper and then stamped the same background on top, masking off an area for the sentiment. I used the letter die-cuts left over from the first card and adhered them in the masked off space as well as a white heat embossed sentiment from THIS stamp set. I added small strips of card stock to add a border to the masked area and added a sprinkling of the same sequins as the first card.
For both cards, I added several layers of the die-cuts for dimension.
I hope this inspires you to make multiple cards using larger die-cuts.
Thanks for stopping by. Have an awesome day.
