Coloring with Ink Smooshing

Howdy, crafty friends. Today’s card is super simple thanks to THIS product…

THESE prints make it so easy to whip up a card. I chose a butterfly print that didn’t have a greeting. I’m not the best at coloring so I’m always looking for different ways to add color so I did some ink smooshing with a rainbow of Distress Oxide inks. I swiped the ink pad on a piece of recycled packaging, any type of acetate would work. I spritzed the ink with water and swiped the color on to the image using the acetate. I dried each color before moving on to the next. I spritzed the panel with THIS for some shine. I added a white heat embossed sentiment from THIS set and adhered the entire piece to a black note card.

Here’s a closer look…

I hope this inspires you to add some ink smooshing on your next coloring project.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
