Hello there, crafty friends. Today’s card was created with goodies from THIS new card kit.
I started by covering a piece of card stock with adhesive. I cut the patterned paper in the kit into strips and started adhering them down to the panel in a random pattern. I love the quilt like look it gives. I die-cut the entire piece with THIS die and cut THIS heart die from the center. I added a pink piece of card stock behind the heart opening and stamped the pattern heart image from THIS stamp set in the center and then a sentiment from the same stamp set on top. I used some of the red floss from the kit to tie a bow around the panel and adhered everything down to the black note card (included in the kit).
The kit also includes a beautiful background stamp that I used to stamp the flap of the envelope…
You can find out more about this kit HERE.
Thanks so much for visiting today. Have a great day.

What a beautiful card, Heather! I do have a question– when laying down the strips, did you lay them all their full length, overlapping and trimming all around the card? Or did you measure, cut, and place each piece as shown individually? I ask because the first method seems it might get a little bulky toward the end, and also feel uneven? But the second method seems like it could be terribly time consuming? What am I missing? Thanks for showcasing your beautiful card!

Very cool look to this card! I love the patchwork patterned paper quilt look, it reminds me of my grandmother’s quilts when I was young :). I always seem to forget to decorate the envelope until it’s too late lol but I love the cohesive look it gives, thanks for the reminder. As always the inspiration is wonderful, thanks for sharing!
