Hi, crafty friends. Today’s cards are super small and unexpected…
I wanted to create a couple of shaped cards using THIS sweet image. I stamped it with THIS ink and colored them in using THIS watercolor once the black ink was dry. I traced them twice and cut those out to create card backs. I scored a line on the back piece towards the top and applied adhesive above that line to create a hinge so the cards would open and stand up on there own. I stamped sentiments from THIS stamp set and added a twine bow as well as some white gel pen accents.
I also created some matching envelopes using THIS ink with the stamp set on THESE envelopes. I masked off the bottom of the envelope and just stamped the top of the flower image on the envelope flap…
The envelopes are 4 Bar Size (5 x 3.6 inches) to give you a reference of measure of the card size.
Here’s a closer look…
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope this has inspired you to create a tiny card. I think it’s a fun and unexpected surprise for the recipient.
Have a great day.
