Hello, crafty friends. I’m sharing a couple of rainbow cards today that use one stamp to get two different looks…
I recently shared a card HERE where I used the spotlight on you stamp set image as a sun burst image. I thought it would be fun to see how I could stretch the use of THIS stamp for multiple designs. I thought the arch of the image lent itself to a rainbow, so I inked it up in multiple Distress Ink colors.
For the first card…
I stamped the image on one side of the paper and then turned the paper 180 degrees to stamp again. I love the burst of color it creates. It reminds me of tie-dye. I white heat embossed a sentiment from THIS stamp set on a black circle and adhered the piece to a black note card.
For my second card…
I stamped the image once and then cut clouds using THIS die from THIS glitter card stock. I stamped a sentiment in the center from THIS stamp set.
I hope this inspires you to look at your stamp images in a different way to get new looks from them.
Thanks for joining me today. Happy crafting.

Very cool look!! I don’t know if I have the patience to ink up the stamp that way lol but it sure looks awesome. I especially like the second one with the glitter clouds and love the sentiment. Thanks for sharing and for the always great inspiration.
