Hidden Sentiment Slider Card

Hello, crafty friends. Today’s card was created with THIS card kit.

I decided to make an interactive card with the adorable penguin images. I stamped, colored, and cut out both penguin images. I created an ice pond using THIS oval die and die-cut THIS die in the center. I adhered foam tape to the back of the piece on three sides, creating a channel for a strip of paper to slide in. I stamped the sentiment inside the opening before adhering the die-cut piece on top. After sliding the strip of paper inside, I cut a heart and stamped a “pull” sentiment from THIS stamp set to let the recipient know what to do. When the strip is pulled, the smaller penguin moves and the sentiment is revealed…

I cut the background paper using THIS stitched die and heat embossed a few snowflake images from the stamp set using THIS embossing powder.

I finished off the card by adding the igloo image to the scene and adding a coat of glossy accents (included in the kit) to give the look of ice…

I hope this inspires you to create a hidden sentiment slider card.
