Hi there, crafty friends. I’m back today with a couple of simple gift boxes…
I wanted to have a few handmade gift boxes on hand for the Holidays. I plan on adding a gift card inside and I think the handmade feel of the boxes make the gift a bit more personal. I started by creating the boxes using THIS tool. They came together pretty quick and the tool comes with easy to follow instructions. I added a die-cut circle using THIS and THIS patterned paper that was cut with THIS die. I cut THIS snowflake twice from white fun foam. This gave the snowflakes instant dimension. I finished it off with a greeting from THIS stamp set that I white heat embossed on a black strip of card stock.
Here’s a closer look…
I left in different parts of the die to get completely different looks from the same die. It’s a great way to stretch the use of your dies!
I made sure to use a strong adhesive like THIS when adhering the piece on to the box.
I hope this inspires you to add a handmade touch to your gift packaging.
Thanks so much for visiting and have a great day!
