Hi, crafty friends. I have several cards to share featuring the large picture book dies as part of the STAMPtember celebration.
Like I mentioned in yesterday’s post HERE, I’m a big fan of the picture book die series and so happy they come in even bigger sizes. I made five different cards using these new dies and background stamps. I did not choose to add a sentiment to any of the cards because I wanted to have a few cards on hand that could be used for any sentiment. I also used different textures to die-cut from. Instead of using just colored card stock, I used a variety of mediums. THIS die was the perfect size to create a card base for these dies.
For the first card…
I used THIS french bulldog die with THIS background. I used THIS woodgrain card stock to add a bit of texture. I stamped the background with THIS ink on THIS card stock for a tone on tone look.
For the hippo card…
I cut THIS hippo die from THIS foil card stock. I added THESE for her eyes and THIS background stamp was stamped on THIS card stock.
For the cat card…
I cut THIS cat die from felt and added THESE googly eyes for some fun. I stamped THIS background stamp with THIS ink.
For the lion card…
I die-cut THIS lion die using THIS patterned paper. I stamped THIS new background stamp using THIS ink.
For the fox card…
I die-cut THIS fox die from THIS card stock and THIS cork paper. I stamped THIS new background stamp using THIS ink.
There are other large picture book dies available in the collection. I created another card using one HERE.
I hope this has inspired you to create some cards with texture and leaving the sentiments off so you have cards ready for any occasion.
