Howdy, crafty friends. I’m back today with more inspiration using THIS card kit…
I just love the images in THIS stamp set that is included in the kit and wanted to highlight the flamingo. The kit comes with THIS die. First, I stamped the image from the stamp set and then used the die to cut it out. I adhered three flamingos underneath so it would have some stability. I added THIS to the beak and eye for some shine. I die-cut two ovals from THIS die and stamped one of them and the background with THIS flamingo background stamp. I white heat embossed the panels to go on the gate fold card I created. To create a gate fold card, you start with a piece of cardstock that measures 9 x 4 1/2 and score it a 2 1/4 inches from either end.
When adhering the flamingo piece, I made sure to only put foam adhesive on one side of the oval. This way it opens freely. I stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card…
…using THIS ink on to a piece of card stock cut with THIS die. I clear heat embossed it to add some shine and stamped a few heart images from the stamp set using THIS ink.
I hope this inspires you to create a gate fold card and decorate the inside of the card to tie everything together.
