Hello, crafty friends! I’m excited to share a couple of cards today as part of the blog hop celebrating THIS Good Vibes Release from Simon Says Stamp.
I was immediately drawn to THIS stamp set. I just love the adorable critters. I stamped and Copic colored several images from the set and used THESE coordinating dies to cut them out. For the first card…
I ink blended a background using a few shades of distress inks to create a beach scene. I flicked a few drops on water on top for some interest and stamped a coordinating sentiment from the set. I adhered the colored images on top of the background and added THIS to the pup’s sunglasses and THIS to the flamingo for some shine. I also added THIS to the beach balls. A closer look…
For the second card…
I did a similar ink blended background, but used Distress Oxide inks instead. I flicked on water droplets and stamped a coordinating sentiment from the stamp set. I adhered the colored images on top with foam tape and added THIS to the mermaid and THIS to the starfish for some shine. For both cards, I added a white mat and adhered it to a card created with THIS die. A closer look..
