Simon Says Stamp Sending Sunshine Release

Hi there, crafty friends. Today’s card features new products from THIS release by Simon Says Stamp.

I started by stamping THIS new background stamp using THIS ink on THIS card stock. I love how much detail it adds but still giving a tone-on-tone look. I stamped the wreath from THIS new stamp set using THIS ink and clear heat embossed it. I used THESE new markers to add a dot of color at the base of each leaf. Then I used a wet paintbrush to pull the color out towards the edge of the leaves. After it was dry, I used THESE coordinating dies to cut it out.

I wanted to create a circle shaker as the focal point but wanted it to be quick and easy. I used THIS circle shaker kit. It was so easy to put together and saved me a ton of time. However, I did switch out the acetate that came in the kit for THIS acetate. I stamped the sentiment from THIS new stamp set using THIS permanent ink. I also white heat embossed a coordinating sentiment from that same stamp set on black card stock.

I filled up the shaker with THESE and THESE. I added a frame around the shaker window using THESE and THESE dies. I finished off the card by rounding all four corners with THIS.

Thanks for stopping by. I’ve linked to all the new release products as well as the supplies used on today’s project below…
