Concord & 9th March Guest Designer-Week 3

Hello, crafty friends. Happy Friday. Today’s cards features new products from Concord & 9th…

I have to say that THIS stamp set was my favorite from the release. I think it’s because it reminds me of my childhood. I grew up in the 80’s and I remember having rainbow wallpaper in my bedroom.  It also reminds me of the rainbow care bear I dressed up as for Halloween when I was five. Every time I see a rainbow, I’m reminded of fond memories of my childhood.

I stamped the arches of the rainbow using a variety of Distress Oxide Inks. I die-cut some clouds from THIS die set and stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set on each. I die-cut THIS word die from the center of the rainbow, adhered it back into place with some fun foam underneath, and added some of THIS on top for a sparkly shine.

Here’s a closer look…

These cards were so fun to make that I made several…

BONUS CARD
Before I go, I also have a bonus card! I used the same stamp set to stamp the rainbow arches in a circular pattern, resembling a bullseye.

I die-cut a circle from the center, adhered a piece of acetate underneath, and added three layers of THIS die-cut on top.

I wanted to have a window so you could see a gift card peeking through…

The store logo was the inspiration for this card. Anyone else a big fan of Target like me!?

I hope this has inspired you to stretch your stamps and make multiple cards.

Be sure to check out more inspiration over on the Concord & 9th Blog HERE.

Thanks for joining me today. Happy Crafting!

I love how you used the dies in these cards. Oh those are so fun. Yes, this stamp reminds me of the rainbows from childhood too. Now my daughter will remember rainbows because they are back, along with unicorns. 🙂 Oh and that Target card is super clever.
