Rainbow Cards

Hello, crafty friends. I have a soft spot for anything rainbow. Rainbows make me happy. I’m sharing two cards today that features rainbow and THIS new cloud die.

For the first card…

I die-cut THIS die from THIS patterned paper to create a rainbow. I die-cut the clouds using THIS die from THIS glitter paper. I backed the opening of the eyes with black cardstock and adhered them to the bottom of each side of the rainbow. I die-cut THIS die using black fun foam. I like to use fun foam when I’m too lazy to die-cut several layers of the word, because it gives similar dimension.  I finished off the card with a sprinkling of THESE and THESE.

I decided to pull it all together with the inside of the card by adding more rainbow…

For the second card…

I masked off the sides of a piece of white card stock cut with THESE die with THIS tape. I stamped THIS background stamp with a rainbow of inks. I cut the same cloud images as the first card, but this time I used THIS white fun foam to add some dimension and texture. I added THIS sentiment the same way as the first card and a sprinkling of THESE and THESE embellishments.

I also added some finishing touches to the inside of the card…

I hope this has inspired you to create a rainbow card.

Thanks for joining me today. Have a great day!
