Hello, crafty friends. Today I’m back with a masculine card design perfect for Valentine’s Day…
I find it difficult to create masculine cards and usually Valentine’s Day is flooded with pink and red. However, after stamping, coloring and cutting out the image from THIS stamp set, I kept the rest of the card design simple to make the color combination pop. Since it was more earth tone colors, it lends itself to a masculine design.
To create the background, I stamped a sentiment from THIS stamp set repeatedly and stamped a heart from THIS stamp set in the design. I stamped the heart in colors that coordinated with the colors of the animals. I finished off the card by white heat embossing a sentiment from THIS stamp set on to a black rectangle cut with THIS die. I adhered the animal scene on top and added THIS to the critter’s eyes.
I found when creating masculine cards, it’s best to keep things simple.
I hope this inspires you to create a masculine card for that special guy in your life.
Thanks for visiting today. I appreciate you.

Such a cute stamp set with these friends all together. I really like how you created the background and then popped the images on a black mat.
