Simon Says Stamp Love Release

Hi, crafty friends. Have you seen the new Love Release from Simon Says Stamp!? You can see it HERE.

I’m sharing three simple Valentine’s Day tags (using some of the new products) that would make a great gift topper or even wrap around some chocolate to give as a gift…

The new picture book dies were the perfect scale for tags. I die-cut a bunch of luggage tags out of white cardstock. The die was from a past Hero Arts card kit and is no longer available. However, you can just double up any tag die you have in your stash. Having two tags back to back makes the assembly of the picture book dies pieces super easy. After adhering some patterned paper to the front tag, I cut the image from the front tag only. I applied adhesive over the entire back tag and adhere it to the front tag. This leaves exposed adhesive in the die-cut opening. After die-cutting the dies from colored cardstock, it’s easy to just pop in the pieces like a puzzle for an in-laid die-cut look.

I used THIS unicorn die to create this tag…

I used THIS ice cream die to create this tag…

I used THIS bear die to create this tag…

For each tag, I white heat embossed a sentiment from THIS stamp set and cut it out with THIS banner die.

I also created tag toppers by die-cutting the tag shape from colored cardstock and then die-cutting the top portion of the tag shape with THIS scallop border die.

I replaced the eyes with THESE heart eye enamel stickers. I finished off each tag with colored twine.

I hope this has inspired you to create some simple tags. Thanks for joining me today.
