Hello, crafty friends. Today’s project shares how to create simple hot cocoa holders. I wanted to share a project that encourages giving after the Holiday season. I plan on giving these to our delivery person who is bringing us packages daily in this freezing weather.
I really like how simple these hot cocoa holders are. What makes these so simple is that they are a standard size card that has been sealed shut. So you can turn any card into a hot cocoa holder…
Plaid is so popular right now, so I used THIS gingham background stamp to create a plaid look…
On all the cards, I created a window by cutting out a mug shape from the center of the panels and adding a piece of acetate stamped with a mug image using THIS ink. I finished off the cards by adding a doily and clothespin.
BONUS CARD
I created another card that is similar in design but holds a gift card instead. I didn’t seal the bottom of the card so it opens like a standard card. Just another option…
To create the backgrounds, I stamped the background using THIS stamp using Distress Oxide Inks.
I hope this inspires you to create some simple hot cocoa holders.
Thanks for spending time with me today. Have an awesome day.

*Note: The mug image was from a Concord and 9th’s promotion and is no longer available. However, I link to a few other hot cocoa products below that would work great as another option…
