Hello, crafty friends. Today’s card uses THIS clever stamp set. I thought it would be fun to create a rainbow city scene with it…
I stamped the city scene towards the bottom of a piece of THIS watercolor cardstock using THIS ink. Then I clear heat embossed it. I created a mask of the image to protect the first layer and then stamped on top and heat embossed it again. I repeated that process a few more times, creating a city scene. I die-cut the entire panel using THIS die and die-cut THIS speech bubble die from the center.
I colored in the scene using THESE Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I added color to one side of each building and then pulled the color out with water to color in the rest of the image. I colored in rainbow order because rainbows make me happy.
I white heat embossed the greeting from THIS stamp set on a strip of black cardstock and adhered it behind the speech bubble opening. I die-cut THIS die from black cardstock and adhered the sentiment above and below the black strip on a white panel behind the card. I added foam tape o the top panel before adhering it to the bottom panel to add dimension to the speech bubble window. I finished off the card by adding THIS to the miss you sentiment and adhering the entire piece to a black scalloped note card.
Thanks so much for visiting. Happy Crafting!
