Hello, crafty friends. Happy New Year! I decided to make the switch from Blogger to WordPress and I thought we could celebrate my with my first blog post. (More on that in a bit.)
First, I want to share a new card design…
Just because the holiday season is over, it doesn’t mean the giving has to stop. I created a gift card holder using THIS polar bear die. It works perfectly since the arms have slits. After die-cutting the polar bear from white cardstock, I stamped a sentiment from THIS stamp set and added a scarf using some felt. I added THIS to the nose and eyes to make them stand out.
For the background, I applied some of THIS through THIS stencil to create snow and added some of THESE snowflakes that I cut from THIS glitter cardstock. I added a white frame cut with THIS die to frame in the scene and added THIS on top to give it a frosted look.
