Hello. I’m continuing the SSS December Card Kit Inspiration week with this interactive slider card…
When you pull the red circle tab, Santa slides over to Mrs.Claus and they hold hands…
I stamped, colored, and cut out the Santa and Mrs. Claus image. I created a card base created from THIS cardstock and adhered a piece of the patterned paper from the kit on top that was die-cut with THIS die. I also die-cut a white piece using the same die and THIS die to create the snow bank. I die-cut THIS die from the center, cut a thin strip to place inside for the slider, and used foam tape to adhere the top panel down. Remember to leave one side clear of adhesive so the pull tab can move freely. To create the pull tab, I white heat embossed a sentiment from THIS stamp set on to a red circle cut with THIS die. I adhered the santa to the pull strip inside using foam adhesive. I adhered Ms. Claus to the top portion of the snow bank, not the slider part because she needs to stay in place.
I finished off the card by white heat embossing a sentiment on to a banner and applying white embossing paste through THIS stencil to create a focal point.
Thanks for visiting me today. I’ll be back tomorrow with one more idea using this kit. I hope you’re enjoying this week’s inspiration. Be sure to check out the earlier posts if you missed any…

Adorable! And so cute that they hold hands when they move together, LOVE! Sliders are really good fun to receive and fun to make. Although I made a magic slider today and it took about 2.5 hours! Not for the feint hearted. As always, I am always excited to see what you are making. Thanks for taking the time to share with us, Lisa
