Tim Holtz STAMPtember Collaboration

Hi! I’m so excited to share a project created with THIS exclusive stamp set designed by Tim Holtz for Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember.

I started by creating the background. I applied four colors of Distress Oxide inks (all listed below) and spritzed water on top as I was drying it. Once it was completely dry, I stamped the deer and tree images using THIS ink. I also heat embossed two of the images to create a moon and star sky. For the snow banks, I cut two pieces of white cardstock with THIS die. I applied some of THIS on top to give them lots of texture and a realistic snow look. I finished off the card by white heat embossing a sentiment on a black banner cut with THIS die. I decided to not add any embellishments and keep the focus on the stamped images.

Here’s a closer look…

You can see this card and lots more inspiration using this stamp set in a video over on Tim’s blog HERE.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.

Wow! So beautiful! That background!! The effect you got with drying and spritzing is amazing – its like a wash. I must try this – add to list that is an arm length already! And the silhouette stamping is perfect. A beautiful card 💕💕💕

Heather, using the "tree rings" as a winter moon is brilliant. I love the serenity of your card,(and every stamp in this set)!
