Stencils with different mediums

Hello. I have a couple cards to share that I created for the latest Little Tangles Challenge…

I wanted to experiment with some different mediums through the stencils and created these two backgrounds…

For the first card…

I applied some of THIS and THIS glitter paste through THIS stencil. I’ve had the glitter paste in my stash for awhile and have been meaning to use it and after creating this card, I must get all of the colors! I love it! It gives such an intense glitter look without the mess. Here’s a closer look…

I finished off the card by white heat embossing a sentiment from THIS set on a piece of vellum cut with THIS circle die. I stamped, colored, and cut out the donut image from the same set and adhered it to the vellum circle with foam tape. I used THIS strong adhesive under the letters of the sentiment to keep the vellum flat.
For the second card…
I used THIS, THIS, and THIS color of Nuvo drops. I’ve been using the Nuvo drops as embellishments but I thought it would be fun to apply it through THIS stencil and I love the raised result it gives…
I finished off the card the exact same way as the first card, but switched out the sentiment and image.
I created these cards for my son’s preschool teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week. I added a Dunkin’ Donuts gift card on the inside using THIS adorable washi tape…
I stamped another sentiment from the same set inside to tie everything together as well as stamping the back of the envelopes that you can see HERE. Oh, and even though the card bases are white, I adhered them to a colored note card so there is a pop of color when the recipient opens it.
I hope this inspires you to experiment with different mediums with your stencils. You can join in on the Little Tangles Challenge HERE
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Have suddenly realised I didn't tell you how much I love these cards you created for this months challenge!! That glitter paste is incredible, its so vibrant, I definitely need to get my hands on some. And I would never have thought to use Nuvo Drops on a stencil….your a genius and I bet it feels amazing too.

The glitter paste looks gorgeous. I have bought about 6 of the Cosmic Shimmer glitter pastes for the new OCC class hoping I will be able to use them. But I love the Bobunny colours you used and I don't blame you for wanting all the colours! So pretty! And the Nuvo drops… who would have thought to use them like this. They look great, like a transluscent texture paste that has been coloured. Great cards and I am sure the teachers loved them 💕
