I Love Neat & Tangled- Day Four

Hello. Today’s project is part of the latest challenge over on the Little Tangles Challenge Blog. If you’re unfamiliar with this blog…it’s the sister blog to the Neat and Tangled Blog. We feature one challenge every month and we would LOVE for you to play along. This month’s challenge is a color combo…

I love silver and gold together. I think it’s so classy. I die-cut THIS and THIS die from some foil cardstock to create these cards…
I wanted to create a shaped cards so I used the largest banner in the die set as a card base.

I used the negative pieces from the first card to make the second card. No wasted pieces with this inlaid die-cutting technique.

I also wanted to create a pocket to hold a gift card or cash. So I die-cut another banner for each and adhered it down only on the two sides and the bottom to create a pocket for the gift to sit in…

I hope this inspires you to create a shaped card and/or gift card holder. Like I mentioned, we would love to have you play along with the challenge. You can find all the information HERE

Awesome cards – love the inlaid technique and how you amped it up even more with the contrasting metallics. So cool! Definitely taking some inspiration from your cards today for GC packaging this Christmas! 🙂

Heather, great use of Banner dies. Silver and gold are a definite go to for the holidays or any time. Using the dies for a gift card holder makes such a pretty holder!
