November MMH Blog Hop

Hello and welcome. Today I’m sharing projects featuring the products in the November My Monthly Hero Kit:

Click HERE for more information about this kit
The kit contains:

► A 4″x6″ clear stamp set
► A set of 13 dies for creating diamond-shaped ornaments and embellishments
► A VersaMark ink cube
► White Puff embossing powder
► 10 half sheets of vellum cardstock
► 2 half sheets of each cardstock: metallic red, metallic blue and patterned
► Ornament hooks and more!

The kit value is $60, an amazing deal at $34.99.
I created five different treat boxes for all types of occasions. I must warn you that making these are addictive! It was hard to stop! 🙂

Here’s a closer look at each…

For the first box, I stamped the striped pattern on to the die-cut with THIS red ink to resemble candy canes. I stamped the Santa image from THIS set and colored him with THESE markers. I punched a hole on top and used it as a charm to embellish the box.

For the second box…

I went with a different holiday…Halloween. The favor box is a great size to hold a couple of chocolates. I stamped the polka dot pattern with black ink on to THIS paper and finished it off with a black tag using a die from the kit. I heat embossed a sentiment using white embossing powder
I also thought of another holiday use…
New Years Eve! Filling it with a surprise for party guests would be fun! I used the vellum from the kit to create the favor box and stamped a greeting from THIS set using black Staz On ink. I finished it off with a clock brad and some purple ribbon.
The next treat box…
…was created using the snowflake stamp pattern and THIS Ombre ink pad. I tied it off with a silk ribbon and hung the tag using one of THESE mini paper clips. I also sprayed it with some of THIS for some shine and sparkle.
For the last treat box…
I used the die with THIS kraft paper and stamped the floral pattern using THIS white ink. This is a great color combo for any occasion. This one happens to be for my niece’s birthday, so this kit goes beyond the holidays.
So, do you want to see what’s inside each one? I created a quick video opening up each box. Check it out here or over on Youtube HERE
