New SSS Card Kit plus OCC sale

Hello! I hope you’re having a great weekend. I’m here today sharing a project created with Simon Says Stamp’s September 2016 Card Kit

Click HERE for more information about this kit.

I’m all about interactive cards these days so I just had to use the fun scratch off stickers in the kit to create a baby card… *DISCLAIMER: I’m not expecting…just showing an example of a fun surprise gender reveal card. 🙂

I thought the circle stamp in the stamp set would be fun to turn into a caterpillar! I used THIS stamp set to create a cute little face and used the arrows in the kit’s stamp set to create antennas. For one of the circles I stamped the gender and then covered it with a scratch off sticker. I stamped the “scratch here” stamp on top using Black Staz-On ink since it’s a slick surface…

You can add a penny to the inside of the card for the recipient to scratch off the sticker, revealing the gender…

I used THIS die for the card base and added layers behind the stamped panel using the beautiful patterned papers in the kit. I can’t wait to make more cards using this kit. Be sure to check back soon for more inspiration.
