Hi there. Today I’m sharing a few cards that uses stamps from different companies. While I’m sure many people create this way, I struggle with combining stamp companies. I’m not sure why…I just usually gravitate to using one company on each card. So I decided to live a little (LOL) and create a card that used products from Avery Elle, Lawn Fawn, My Favorite Things, and Mama Elephant…
I stamped the rainbow image from THIS stamp set and the little smiley face from THIS stamp set using THIS black ink. I clear heat embossed the image and colored it with THESE markers. I used the coordinating die to cut it out and adhered it on top of an ink blended section. I stamped a greeting from THIS stamp set and framed out the scene using THIS die. Simple and cute…
I like to seal my envelopes using washi tape. THIS washi tape coordinated perfectly with the card…
I created another card with the same design but used a lighter color pallette and a different sentiment…
I stamped on the inside of the card too and used a piece of rainbow patterned paper (from Doodlebug) to finish it off…
I hope this inspires you to break out of the box (if you’re like me). Have a great day.

Hi Heather. I just popped over from the Little Tangles challenge page to check out your blog/card. I had to chuckle when you said that you struggle a little with combining different stamp companies. I am just the opposite. I love combining different sets. I do that when I cook, too. Combine ideas from different recipes! My husband says I never follow directions! LOL Anyway, I your card is adorable, but I LOVE your shaker card for the challenge!!
