30 Day Coloring Challenge

You can find more information about the coloring challenge HERE.
Hi there. Have you heard of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge? It’s such a great challenge created by my sweet friend, Kathy Racoosin. I love the idea of coloring a little something each day.
In honor of the challenge, I created two cards that I colored with THESE Zig markers. I love these markers because they give such bright and bold results….

Kathy has inspired me to color on the go….I stamped this background and had it ready to color while my little guy was swimming. I have a little table I set up by his kiddie pool and I put on some tunes. We both have a blast!

A closer look…

I love the icecream/popscicle images from THIS set and stamped them using THIS ink and clear heat embossed them. I outlined the image with the markers and pulled the color in using water and a brush. For the card above, I used THIS stamp set for the sentiment.

For my second card, I did the same thing but wanted to keep it pretty simple…

I made sure to work on THIS watercolor cardstock so it would hold up when adding the water. Here’s a closer look…

I hope this inspires you to do some coloring. Remember, you can color with any medium. I’m not too great with Copics, so it has been fun exploring other mediums.

Again, make sure to check out the challenge HERE and join in on the fun! Thanks so much for stopping by.
