Teacher Appreciation Cards

Hello and welcome. Today is Teacher Appreciation Day and I’ve created a few cards for the occasion…

I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it here before, but I used to be a Pre-K teacher for many years. It was one of the most rewarding (and exhausting) jobs I’ve ever had. I love to find any excuse to spoil teachers and since my little guy isn’t in school yet, I thought I would start making cards to have on hand for when the time comes.

I used THIS stamp set by Simon Says Stamp and stamped the adorable apple image on to circles cut with THIS die. I colored them in using THESE markers. I wanted to do something a bit different than I usually do (trying to mix up the routine a bit)- so I adhered THESE, THESE, and THESE 4 bar sized cards to a flat note card created using THIS die and THIS background stamp.

I finished off the cards by adding some enamel dots and some twine. If you struggle with tying bows like me, try adding the bow on top of the twine using THIS glue.

The twine on the inside is the perfect place to hold a gift card…
Here’s a closer look…
I hope this has inspired you to spoil the teacher(s) in your life! Happy Teacher Appreciation Day.
