Hello there. I’m back today with a shaker card…
To create this card, I die-cut THIS heart from the center of a white cardstock panel and from a piece of fun foam. I applied four different colors of distress ink on top in rainbow order (Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, and Cracked Pistachio). I adhered a piece of acetate behind the heart opening to serve as a window for the sequins.
I wanted to add some texture without any bulk so I placed THIS stencil on the panel and dabbed a baby wipe on top. The moisture from the baby wipe pulls up the color, leaving a “bleached” look…
I adhered the fun foam piece on top of THIS card and rubbed THIS inside to prevent static build up. I filled the heart opening with THESE sequins and then adhered the colored panel on top, creating a shaker card. I die-cut THIS kindness sentiment out of black cardstock and adhered it over the heart. I added a coat of glossy accents for some shine.
I thought THIS sentiment would coordinate perfectly for the inside of the card. I stamped it using the four colors of Distress Ink I used on the front of the card…
