Hello and welcome. I’m sharing an interactive card with a fun twist…
When I first saw THIS stamp set, I immediately knew what I wanted to do. I thought it would be fun to have the empty magician’s hat on the front and have it spin around to reveal the bunny when the recipient opens it….
“Abracadabra”…
It’s hard to explain, so check it out in action HERE on Instagram.
Here’s a peek at the inside greeting that was stamped from THIS stamp set….
Creating a spinner card like this is easier than it looks….I cut out two ovals from THIS die set using Neenah White Cardstock. I stamped the image once as it’s intended and a second time using some masking to make the bunny disappear! I did some quick coloring with my markers and adhered them together with a piece of fishing line in between. I cut a larger oval out of the front panel of the card and sandwiched that fishing line between the layers of cardstock. To get the piece to spin, you wind it up before closing it.
I just love making cards like this and I hope this inspires you to try one. As always, thanks so much for stopping by.
