Hello. Today’s card was created using the February Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp…

I was inspired by THIS canvas created by the amazing Jennifer McGuire for the Ranger booth at CHA (her canvas is the sun that says shine)….
Click HERE to see a detailed pic taken by my sweet friend, Chari Moss. I just love how Jennifer created the sun image by arranging small shapes like a puzzle. I thought that I would try it on a smaller scale,..
I started by die-cutting the hearts using the patterned paper in the kit with THESE heart dies. I used THIS die to create the large, black heart and arranged the smaller hearts to fit inside. Once I got the placement, I used a trick I learned from Laurie Willison to adhere them in place. Click HERE to see her awesome tip of adhering tiny pieces in place using THIS press-n-seal. Genius.
Here’s a closer look…
I stamped the arrow image from the stamp set included in the kit using THIS ink repeatedly to create a background. I stamped a coordinating sentiment using THIS ink and heat embossed it using THIS clear embossing powder to make it pop. I added some of THIS on top of all the hearts for some shine and used THIS die as a scalloped border card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I’ll be back soon with more cards created with this awesome kit.
