Hello. I hope you had a great weekend. I’m sharing a little gift I created using THIS new card kit from Simon Says Stamp…
I am a big Doodlebug fan so I was thrilled when I opened my kit. Their products always make me happy.
So instead of creating a card with the kit, I created some hot chocolate packages for my son’s speech and occupational therapist…
I die-cut THIS die to create the topper and added some stickers and patterned paper from the kit. I heat embossed the greeting from the stamp set included on one of the cardstock strips. I added some of THIS to the penguin’s scarf for some sparkle. I stamped the clear bags with the snowflake images from the stamp set using THIS ink. Using my MISTI stamping tool made this quick and easy. I filled the bags with marshmallows, a candy cane, and a packet of hot chocolate mix and attached the topper using THIS tool.
A closer look…
I plan on giving these along with a pair of cozy socks and a gift card. I hope this inspires you to create a few last minute gifts with your crafty supplies.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I’ll be back soon…
