Hi there. Today I’m sharing a card I created with the latest card kit from Simon Says Stamp. I absolutely love the colors of pool and red together. Swoon.

I took the stocking from the stamp set included in the kit and inked it up with THIS ink and stamped it four times. I wanted to monogram the stockings for all the members of our family so I masked off the letters in the Merry Christmas greeting (I was lucky enough that all the letters I needed were in that sentiment). I inked up the stocking image again with the VersaMark ink cube in the kit and stamped it on the lower portion of the stocking. I heat embossed them with the rainbow sparkle embossing powder because it reminded of my stocking growing up.

I stamped a few coordinating sentiments (the sentiment above the stockings is from the kit’s stamp set and the sentiment below is from THIS stamp set). I stamped a black string for the stockings to hang from using THIS stamp set . I die-cut an oval from THIS die set using THIS cardstock and adhered it on top. I finished off the card by adhering everything to a patterned paper background and adding a few star stickers from the kit.
