MFT Soda Pop Dies and Stamps

Hi there. Today I have a couple cards to share featuring THIS die and THIS stamp set by My Favorite Things…

Aren’t those adorable!? Here’s the first card I created with them…

I stamped one of the images from THIS set repeatedly using different colors of Distress Ink. I spritzed the stamp a couple of times with water before stamping to achieve a watercolor look. I added some drops of water that I picked up with a paper towel, creating bleached spots. I die-cut the soda pop image from THIS foil cardstock and used THIS and THIS paper pad to die-cut the bottle labels. I used THIS die for the stars and added THIS and THIS on top for some dimension. I added some clear sequins and dots of glossy accents from the top of each bottle to tie in with the theme…

I masked off all the stamped areas and flicked on some Black Soot Distress Ink that I mixed with Perfect Pearls to add a bit of interest. I finished off the card by stamping a coordinating greeting and matting the piece with some of THIS fun paper. I adhered everything to a black note card. I love the shine…

I used the same technique for the second card but mixing up the color scheme…

I used the different bottle image die this time and added enamel dots to represent bubbles. I also used hearts instead of stars on the labels. I added a thin strip of the same glitter paper to tie in with the silver bottles…

A closer look…

I’m loving that color combo!

That’s all I have for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!
