Simon Says Stamp’s September Card Kit can be found HERE |
I stamped the balloon image multiple times across the card using various Simon inks in rainbow color. I wanted them to have the look of a real balloon, so I went back and stamped the images again using VersaMark ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I love the shine it gives (It was hard to photograph-THIS is a better picture of the shine)
See those stars? The kit comes with a pack of really cool acetate cards. I took the gold one and used THIS star die to make my own embellishments. I stacked a few on top of each other so they would pop. I also used THIS wave border die to make the scalloped border along the bottom of the card.
My second card…
…used all the tiny images in the kit. I love to create backgrounds from several small images. After covering the entire background I die-cut THIS balloon die from the center and adhered some foam underneath. I traced the image with a black marker to make it stand out more. I finished off the card with some black string at the bottom of the balloon.
A closer look…
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!
