Hello! I’m back with another Quick Crafty Tip. This is a new series to my blog where I share a simple crafty tip. I’m in no way reinventing the wheel…just sharing what I found that works best for me in hopes it may help you as well.
Today’s tip is about stamping. I don’t know about you but I sometimes have a difficult time getting good, solid impressions when stamping. This is where a ceramic tile saves the day…
Yes…you read that right….a ceramic tile. We had a few leftover tiles from a home improvement project and I wanted to give one a try for stamping on. It really makes a difference! Having a solid, hard surface underneath gives me a good impression every time.
I recently put felt pads on the back corners so that it wouldn’t scratch any surfaces. It is a bit heavy to carry with me to crops but perfect for my work area at home. I hope you give this tip a try. I’ve used it for years and am very happy with the results.
Thanks for stopping by!

This is wonderful. I don't really have a crafting space yet, so a lot of stuff gets made on a tv tray, or the lap desk, and as you can guess.. neither one are really sturdy enough for a good impression. Maybe this will help out. Thanks so much for sharing.

Gah. LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea, and that stamp. I need that set just about as much as I need my next breath. My husband is going to LOVE me having to carry around a tile now, too. 🙂
