Hi there. I had a lot of fun creating for the current challenge over on the Little Tangles Blog. Anything goes means no rules so as I was searching the web for inspiration, I came across THIS video by Jennifer McGuire. She did a guest spot for us last year HERE where she shared how to create a watercolor bleed with Distress ink….
I inked up THIS beautiful stamp set from Neat and Tangled with Worn Lipstick, Peacock Feathers, and Spiced Marmalade Distress inks from THIS mini ink set. I used the mini ink pads because it was easier to get into tight spaces of the image. After I stamped the image on watercolor cardstock, I gave it a few sprays of water to get the ink moving. In Jennifer’s video, she stamped over top the original image with black ink, but I decided to keep it as is.
I just love this technique. A closer look…
I finished off the card by stamping a coordinating sentiment from the set using black ink. I adhered it to a side folding, white note card created from Neenah White cardstock using foam adhesive.
Make sure to go enter your project in the challenge HERE. I can’t wait to see what you create…
