Get Well Soon Cards

Welcome. I’ve noticed that I don’t have many get well soon cards in my stash, so I thought I would create a couple with THIS adorable stamp set.

For my first card…

…I stamped the image and the sentiment in the set using VersaFine Black ink and heat embossed both with clear embossing powder. I did this to help keep the watercolor inside the lines. I used my Peerless Watercolors to color the image and also create a shadow underneath. I die-cut the image from the center of the watercolor cardstock using THIS die and adhered it back into place with foam adhesive for dimension. I used black cardstock to mat the panel before adhering it to a Hero Arts green note card. I added a heavy coating of glossy accents to the image for interest since the card is CAS.

A closer look…

For my second card…

…I did the same process as the first card but changed the color scheme. I also die-cut THIS die to create a focal point. I used the “germ” image from the set and stamped it repeatedly with THIS ink on to THIS cardstock to create a background. I adhered all the pieces to a Hero Arts note card.

It’s hard to see in the pic but he is shiny thanks to some Wink of Stella

That’s all for today. I hope you have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
