Inspired by OCC- Card #3

Hello! I’m back today with another card inspired by Clean and Simple 4 class

The stripes were inspired by Kristina‘s direct to paper inking technique and Jennifer’s ink pattern technique on Day 5 of class. I created the stripes by applying masking tape strips to a piece of watercolor paper. I removed a few strips and inked the rest with THIS ink. After gently removing the masking tape, I was left with some “rough” line edges that I really like. It adds a little texture.

I stamped a greeting from THIS Hero Arts set using THIS ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I die-cut this die several times out of THIS white cardstock and THIS glitter paper and adhered them together, adding dimension. I also punched out a heart shape and adhered it to the bottom to finish off the card.

I absolutely love the gold against the graphic black and white. There is one more inspiration piece I should mention in creating this card. I came across this ADORABLE notebook while shopping at T.J. Maxx the other day and snapped a picture…
Inspiration is everywhere. Next time you see something that strikes you, snap a picture!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day! I’ll be back soon with another card share…
