Super Hugs…

Hello! You might remember THESE cards I made recently using a favorite stamp set of mine. I actually created those cards with a friend of mine’s stamp set. I couldn’t purchase it because it was a limited edition and sold out. I just loved the set and she knew it….so what does my sweet friend do? She sends me hers! She is a gem and I wanted to make a thank you card for her using the set…

I stamped the greeting repeatedly using some pigment inks so I could heat emboss on top of them using clear embossing powder. Hard to see in the pictures, but it gives a great shine.

Instead of coloring the super hero image with my markers, I heat embossed the image and used my watercolors. I also cut some tiny banner shapes out of vellum to give the illusion she is flying. I coated each one with some Wink of Stella for some bling.
