Simon Says Stamp Stamptember- Day Two

Welcome Back. As I mentioned on yesterday’s post, I will be working with THIS stamp set all week in celebration of the Stamptember event over at Simon Says Stamp. I have a clean and simple card for you today…

I punched a large circle on a piece of white cardstock. Underneath that, on the front of the card itself, I adhered a piece of patterned paper that I stamped one of  the greetings from the set on in black. I wanted the sentiment to stand out, so I inked it again with VersaMark ink and stamped directly on top of the black and heat embossed it in clear, giving it some shine. Then I adhered the panel with the large circle on top of the patterned paper using foam adhesive for some dimension, creating a window.
Now for the donuts…

I started out stamping one large and two small donuts (the same way I did yesterday…using circle punches to cut them out quickly). I wanted to create a glaze on top of the donuts and found that THIS works great. I simply “iced” the donuts back and forth with the black enamel. After they were dry, I adhered them to the card, layering them with foam adhesive so some were raised higher than the others, adding dimension.
Super easy and fun. Thanks so much for stopping by! I will be back tomorrow with another card…
