Welcome. Recently I purchased THIS from the new Lawn Fawn release and couldn’t wait to make a card with it. I just love Lawn Fawn‘s playful style…
To create this card, I die-cut the stitched rectangle from THIS set using some watercolor cardstock, Then I die-cut the heart image multiple times towards the top. Below the heart images, I stamped the two hedgehogs using black ink, just for placement. I stamped them again on some white cardstock, colored them, and die-cut them out. Under the hedgehog images I used some paper from THIS paper pad to create grass by cutting slits on the top of each piece of paper. I glued the top hill flat and used foam adhesive to pop up the lower hill along with the hedgehogs to give them some dimension. I mounted the entire piece on to a decorative piece of pink cardstock.
I wanted to make the hearts stand out so I filled the holes with glossy accents to give them some shine…
I finished off the card by mounting it on a Hero Arts pool notecard and using a sparkly gel pen to highlight the spikes on the hedgehog.
That’s all for today. Thanks for stopping by!
