Interactive Mother’s Day Card

Hi there, crafty friends. Today’s card share is an interactive Mother’s Day Card…

I started by die-cutting THIS butterfly die a few times out of a piece of THIS kraft card stock. I backed the openings with an alcohol inked piece. I white heat embossed a sentiment from THIS stamp set and finished off the design with a sprinkling of THESE. I adhered the panel on to a piece of THIS card stock.

I wanted to make a special card for my mom for Mother’s Day. She is such an amazing mother and a wonderful grandmother. There is nothing she likes more than pictures of her grandchildren so I decided to incorporate a few into the design using THIS pivot pop up die. You can find a great instructional video by Lawn Fawn on this die HERE. It was easy to follow and I can’t wait to make more of these in the future. I used the die to cut out the pictures so they would fit perfectly…

You can see it in action HERE.

I added a white heat embossed sentiment from THIS stamp set and THIS butterfly that was cut from a piece of the same alcohol ink background.

I hope this inspires you to create an interactive card with pictures. I plan on creating this type of card for my Christmas cards, but I think they would be great for any occasion.

Thanks for joining me today. Have a great day!
