Hi, crafty friends. Today’s project features THIS February Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. Instead of creating card examples, I wanted to share how you can decorate your envelopes…

I really like that the card kit comes with three envelopes. For the first envelope…

I stamped the images in the card kit’s stamp set on the flap of the envelope using THIS ink for a tone-on-tone look. I also stamped a sentiment underneath. Now it’s ready for any handmade card.

For the second envelope…

I embossed the flap of the envelope with one of the embossing folders included in the kit. I finished it off by white heat embossing a sentiment from the stamp set under the flap.

For the third envelope…

I gold heat embossed the border stamp across the envelope flap to resemble washi tape as well as another image and sentiment from THIS stamp set.

The kit also comes with fantastic pattern papers. I cut a few designs with THIS die and adhered them to the inside of the envelope.

This project took very little time to complete and now I have some envelopes on hand that are ready to mail.

I hope this inspires you to dress up your envelopes. We spend so much time on our handmade cards, but envelopes need love too. 🙂
