Matching Envelope

Hello. The Little Tangles Challenge Blog just announced their new challenge HERE and it’s all about continuing the card design on the envelope and/or inside of the card. I chose to create a matching envelope for my card…

Before I get to the envelope, let’s focus on the card…
Using my MISTI, I stamped the XO image from THIS stamp set using a variety of dye inks (all linked below). I stamped the sentiment from the same set using THIS ink and clear heat embossed it for some shine. I used THIS die to cut out the panel and adhered it to a black mat to make it stand out form the rainbow background. I wanted the background to match the ink colors perfectly, so I swiped the ink on pieces of white cardstock and adhered them in rainbow order on top of one another. I finished off the card by applying some of THIS on top of the XO images for some shine.
Now for the envelope…
I used THIS word die and THIS embossing mat in my Big Shot Machine to emboss the word on the flap. It’s a great way to stretch your dies and get a completely different look. I also stamped a rainbow of hearts using a heart image from THIS set and the same ink colors.
Speaking of envelopes, I share much more information on dressing up your envelopes HERE
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you can check out the challenge HERE and play along. We would LOVE to see what you create.
